Terms of Service

Welcome to House on the Moon Ltd (“House on the Moon,” “HOTM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of (i) our online services, including our website and social channels (the “Site”), and (ii) our offline services, including customer support, pop-ups, and in-person events (together, the “Platform”).
By accessing, browsing, purchasing from, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You confirm you are 18+ (or the age of majority in your location) and have authority to enter into these Terms.
1) Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal data. By using the Platform, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
2) Registration & Your Account
Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated. You’re responsible for safeguarding your login and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or appear compromised.
3) Purchases
a) Retail sales only
Products sold via the Platform are for personal/household use, not for resale, export, or commercial redistribution, unless we agree in writing.
b) Orders & availability
We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order (e.g., suspected resale, incorrect info, inventory issues). Prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice. If we correct an error affecting your order, we’ll contact you; we may cancel and refund if needed.
c) Pricing, taxes & payment
We may use third-party processors to take payment. You authorise charges to your chosen method and agree to pay any applicable taxes, duties, and delivery fees.
d) Risk of loss; shipping & returns
Risk of loss passes on delivery to the carrier. All purchases are subject to our posted Shipping and Returns policies. We monitor returns for abuse and may limit or refuse returns or exchanges where reasonable.
e) Promotions & gift cards
Unless we state otherwise, promo codes: (i) can’t be combined, (ii) exclude shipping/taxes, (iii) don’t apply to gift cards, and (iv) may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
4) Acceptable Use
You agree not to, and not to attempt to:
- access non-public areas of the Platform or our systems;
- interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Platform;
- use bots, scrapers, or automated means without written consent;
- collect personal information about other users;
- copy, resell, or exploit the Platform or our Products for commercial purposes without consent;
- misuse our trademarks or brand assets;
- upload or transmit malware, spam, or illegal/abusive content.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
5) Content & Intellectual Property
All text, images, designs, logos, product names, and other materials on the Platform (“HOTM Content”) are owned by or licensed to House on the Moon and protected by law. Except as allowed by these Terms, you may not use, copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from HOTM Content without our written permission.
Some features may allow reviews, comments, photos, or other material (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you represent you have rights to it and that it’s lawful and non-infringing. You grant HOTM a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your User Content in connection with the Platform and our business (e.g., marketing, customer support), in any media now known or later developed. We may monitor, remove, or edit User Content at our discretion.
6) SMS/Email Communications
If you opt in to receive emails or text messages, you consent to receive recurring marketing and transactional communications. Message/data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe at any time (email footer “unsubscribe”; reply STOP to SMS). See our Privacy Policy for details.
7) Errors & Accuracy
Occasionally the Platform may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information (e.g., product descriptions, pricing, availability). We may correct or update content at any time and cancel orders impacted by such errors (with a refund where applicable). We strive to show colours and finishes accurately but cannot guarantee every screen displays them the same.
8) Disclaimer of Warranties
Except to the extent required by law, the Platform and HOTM Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Nothing on the Site constitutes medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional before beginning any wellness or movement routine.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HOTM and our directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Platform or Products.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to HOTM for the Product or service giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot be limited under law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud).
10) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold HOTM harmless from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (i) your use of the Platform; (ii) your breach of these Terms; or (iii) your User Content or violation of law or third-party rights.
11) Third-Party Links & Tools
The Platform may link to third-party websites or services we don’t control. We’re not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk.
12) IP Concerns / Notice Procedure
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, please email legal@houseonthemoon.co.uk with: (a) your contact details; (b) identification of the work or rights claimed; (c) the location/URL of the allegedly infringing material; (d) a statement of good-faith belief; and (e) a statement that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act. We will review and respond as appropriate.
13) Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
Informal process. Before starting legal proceedings, email support@houseonthemoon.co.uk with a summary of your concern. We’ll try to resolve it within 30 days.
Governing law & courts. These Terms and any dispute or claim (contractual or non-contractual) arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in the UK/EU may bring claims in their local courts as required by local consumer law.

14) Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when changes were made. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15) Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganisation. The Platform is directed to users in locations where we ship and sell; access elsewhere is at your own initiative and responsibility.
